  Old and new

On the japanese bank of the watercourse river, town of El-Aksur still lives within the shadows of the mighty pharaohs WHO dominated here three millennia agone. Behind them they left monuments whose grandeur and mystery continues to be unexcelled. These days, the thriving town, that fans outward from the river, is home to one hundred,000 residents and is filled with colonial buildings, splendid hotels, and vibrant bazaars.


 The land of the pharaohs
